The Folbot folding kayak company has generously sponsored the TSS2010 expedition with a Folbot Kodiak kayak and additional equipment.
The Kodiak has not been modified in any way for the expedition, with the exception of additional decklines at the bow and stern. These decklines can be added to any Folbot kayak on request. They don't make the kayak faster or anything! ;O)
Lars Gram of Gram Kajak would like to sponsor one of his beautiful Greenland paddles to be used on the TSS2010 expedition and I am very grateful to accept. Paddling with a traditional Greenland-style wooden paddle will not only look and feel great, it should help me paddle more efficiently too.
